One of my dad's places is where Mr. Deeds was shot. the part where he chases and hits the reporter in the head with garbage can. Ill get some pics for that as well.

A lot in Austin. The Alamo, Ms. Congeniality, and my personal favorite Austin movie....

Office Space.

Well, the only one I can think of was about 100 miles away. It a movie called Leap of Faith and it was shot in Plainview, Texas. However, since Buddy Holly came from Lubbock, it's possible that a few of the movies that people have made about him have been filmed here. I'm not entirely sure though.

Hmm..well, they did film a few scenes of The Matrix here in Sydney. The sky-line, buildings. Thats about it i think. :D

I remember when I lived in Connecticut, I went into NYC for the day and watched them film the beginning scenes of I Am Legend. There was a lot of military, it was cool.

I used to live in the little town in Idaho where they made Napoleon Dynamite - moved away before the movie was made, though.

I live close to Washington DC, there have been a lot of movies made in DC, but one of the most famous sites I can think (besides you know, the real landmarks) are the exorcist stairs in georgetown.... i have never seen it though (the movie, not the stairs)

As far as where I live now, there have been a few low budget movies filmed around Little Rock. I can remember at least one where they used our state capital as a stand-in for the national capital in some biker movie.

That said, when I lived in New Orleans they were actually filming The Last Time at my office building when the hurricane hit. I actually met Michael Keaton briefly when I walked out of a door and stepped right onto a set. What was really cool, though, was watching them uproot the palm trees in front of our building in order to get them out of the shot. The movie was set in the Northeast where they don't exactly have palm trees.

The opening to Ocean's 12 was filmed in my town. Wasn't actually in Connecticut, like they claimed. Didn't actually see anyone famous, but it was a big deal :P

Well, I live about 4 blocks from Columbia University, so that's Ghostbusters 1 and 2, Spiderman 1 and 2 (and maybe 3), and that crappy Olsen twins thing from a couple years back.

Man on Fire with Denzel Washington was filmed in Mexico City's downtown. I saw Mr. Washington in the distance. I know there are other films but in this moment I don't remember them.

This movie called "Rush" which was maybe late 70s or early 80s was filmed right outside by my Grandma's house.
