Well the 8800 I was going to get was 512MB, the 9800GT I ordered is 1GB so that's a little bit of a difference isn't it? Either way, I'm just glad to be getting a new card.

I'm going to assume that you're talking about vRAM. Unless you're gaming at high resolutions (1920x1200 or higher), you're not going to need more than 512MB vRAM.

Don't get me wrong, the 9800GT is a good card, just like the 8800GT (they are the same after all), but it's not worth the extra money over it's predecessor.
