To OP:
You need to restart the game/alt tab more (somtimes it works) to get the things away.

or run in Windowed mode and get no problems, as far as I've experienced.

Actually, I believe I read a thread somewhere that said starting and stopping a demo would fix this problem. I have yet to try it myself, but I'll try to remember to do it the next time I have some graphical glitches.
