Sweet sunglasses, where'd you get them? A good friend of mine is married to a Scot woman. He might like to get her a pair.

I picked them up at a vendor at a local Scottish Highland Games. I had never seen them for sale before and haven't seen them since - which is a shame since the saltires are starting to peel.

If you mean that silver glint on the side, it's actually a kilt pin, to keep the outer fold of the kilt from being blown up by the wind. Legend has it that the kilt pin was implemented during Queen Victoria's reign. One day while reviewing a unit of Scottish soldiers on a windy day, she notice one kiltwearer was trying very hard to keep himself from being exposed. She removed a pin from her hair and stuck in the kilt, thus proctecting the soldier's modesty.

Ah, apologies dude, we don't wear them much so I'm not used to seeing them. Over in Dundee we use pins that are a little less shiny when we wear them, as far as I can tell
