Wonder how people get insane headshots in TF2? Here's how

The video is strictly informational. The wireframe was to show the correlation between hitbox and model. Thank you for posting that, it was very informative.

Also, if you watched the video for more than a minute, you will see that is says it is client side. Meaning lag compensation can be turned on and off on your side of the house. It doesnt matter much anyway, its just like changing your refresh rate.

I was about to mention this, for people saying it's exploiting. He isn't exploiting, he is showing hitboxes so that we can understand the movement of them in correlation to the model. Common knowledge in FPS games is to shoot in the direction your target is moving, but the video shows why we do that. A long time ago I saw basically the same video, but for Counter-Strike:Source.

Thank you for posting, it helps... even though scouts know how to dodge bullets super pro now. :D

I'm just gonna go ahead and say it...
I don't like this video. It ruins what I found out on my own! Now people are going to be able to weaken my hold as a sniper!
!argh

so correct me if im wrong but im an old school sniper and all this newfangled technology and the leading shots has got me confused. if i turn OFF lag compensation will headshots register as headshots?

never mind after studying the vid i realized that it was meant to display lag compensation. for those of you used to PC shooters and normally lead your shots then set lag compensation to 0. for those of you like me and started on consoles and go straight for the head set it to 1
