Im exited too! Its not my favorite time period but the Total War series is great. RTW is one of my favorite games ever. Medieval 2 was ok but like you said: Naval Battles! nuff said.

I am really looking forward to it. However, I would really like to see them make a second Shogun: Total War.

It's in my top three wanted games, along with L4D and Fallout 3. Thing that sucks is it's always the campaign part I enjoy best, but that's always the part they release screenshots of last.

I think it would be crazy, but im just not sure how well it would work. Unit tactics would play out a lot differently now vs back then. And I would think the campaign portion of the game would need a big redesign.
