Question about some events..

The only ones I am aware of are eG vs eGO scrims, which are for obvious purposes. Road Trips are eG and eGO only, as members go to other servers, and e's may not be quite as aquainted with the rules, and Edge Gamers wants to make their best impression on other servers, therefore, only eG's and eGO's are allowed on Road Trips

It could have been one of the rank vs rank events. There was an e vs eG event awhile back, and that one might have been eG vs eGO. Or there might be an event type I don't know about. But I think that is what it was last time.

Explaining the dog tag scrims :
There ARE e vs eGO events; you just need to earn them. About two weeks ago, we had an event: e vs eG. eGs won it, thus, we face the eGOs this week. if the e's had one, they would be facing the eGOs. make sense?
Second : the reason we don't allow e's on roadtrips is simply lack of acquaintance. If we extended the offer to e's, tomorrow, an idiot could join, and come on the roadtrip. if they got frustrated, and decided to blow up, they would probably make us look really bad. eGs have been with the clan for a while, and we know that they are good players and excellent admins. eGOs even more so.
This is not to bash the e's; it's simply a case of "one spoils it for all". So, if you match the specifications above, and you are an excellent player with great behavior, and you want to come... wait around for a bit! there is a good chance that a promotion is just around the corner

Sadly, I no longer have those shots in my sig... perhaps I should put them back. just a quick edit would make them not break the site, and certainly it would help people to understand.
Or, I could leave them out, and let it forever be an insider to the people who were there.

pretty much impossible, Balzac. I think the next one is e vs eG after this one... and I will be there. Therefore, the e's will lose. shame... I suppose you can hope I won't make it.

You underestimate the complete and utterly masterful ownage that Balzac can deliver. I've seen it, both on his team and as his domination target.

e v eG arena match would be awesome!
How do people find out about these events? Is it just a weekly thing on the same day? I didn't see anything posted about a "Rumble" on Turbine that was supposed to happen last night, but got canceled for reasons I do not know. I only saw the post about it being canceled. Can someone fill in the blanks for me? I'd love to participate in any event that ego has to offer, sounds like fun.

Once you are eG or eGO you know the rules super well, which is crucial when playing on other peoples servers. I'm not saying that our e's don't know the rules, but I am saying we don't know how well you know them.
