Logitech Premium Stereo Headset Audio

The audio on my headset (Logitech Premium Headset) stops whenever the cord is touched or moved. I tried my brothers as well just now on 2 different computers and it has the same problem, although I have never had this problem before. Any thoughts?

Wire could be shorting out somehow, any nicks or frays in the cord anywhere? I had a mic like that once found it was from my cat chewing on it had to cut and resplice the wire, it helped but it eventually died for good

I called them back, they said the wire was bad and are saying me the 2 replacements!
