try to make your effects go in the direction of your render, its what we in the gfx underworld call flow and it is the most satisfying effect of any sig
with your borders try to stay on the absolute edges or it gets a bit distracting
Depth is something people use to make their pictures seem more realistic and less like a anime cartoon, this can be achieved by blurring things that are further behind the focal in three dimensional space
The last key point is to make a focus, as it stands i want to look at the background because it contrasts a lot more, when you first look at that sig do you look at the guys face or the background?
