So I just need to let everyone know that the third book in the Eragon series is quite stellar. Many things that I had questions about were answered (it took me about a week to read all 750 pages) and the characters are slowly evolving. I was quite surprised by the ending and if anyone else has read the series I would definitely like to read your views. Also, this book was really well written, it is more mature--the writing style--than Eragon, and more detailed than Eldest. He does an excellent job of painting a picture not only of Alagaesia but also what the character is feeling (at least what Eragon and Saphira are feeling) about their situation.

great book!!!! took me a week to read, but that was because i had school, if not i would have taken 3 days, but honestly the best one in the series so far, cant wait for book 4

Lol I stayed up at night to finish it.

First book was still way better, although third was better than the second book.

Tell me is this the ending to the series? If so I'm thinking of buying the book set since I read the first two but checked them out. If not I might just buy the book.

hehe I finished it in one day. I woke up at 11:00 am the next day :P.
Yah, really good. Too much content to fit in the third so he is also writing a fourth and last one.

Actually no it is not. Paolini has decided to turn the series into a cycle and make it four books instead of three.

I would love to comment on his third book, but I cannot. I intended to read through Eldest before the third one came out, and was quite surprised to find it out last Sunday. Consequently I am reading through Eldest right now.

Just tell me one thing...I have to know if I'm right or wrong. Is Brom Eragon's father? I suppose the answer would require a spoiler warning.

Yea it took me so long to read due to college classes, bowling league, and random intramural sports at night.

I'm glad to see there are many others out there who enjoy the series as much as I do!
