Hello.

Currently I am making a map, and I put in a skybox, but I do not know how large it should be. Cause if I put it too big, I get something random, if I put it too small I get just a blue box... Can you guys help me? I will put out a screenshot whenever I get home from school.

Can you tell me the exact texture your using and the directory.

EX:
sprites/bluez

When I mean directory I mean the directory in the texture tool.

When I started mapping thats what I thought also and when I tested there was a small patch off the picture and the rest was messed up. Though yah continue mapping XD

Now there is a new problem... The sun shines through my door wall D:.

Ok quick fix create a block where you want the wall to be. Make the texture nolight or something or blocklight in the tools/

The texture will block the light from coming in.

The sky box should be as big as need be for the initial testing. However once you come down to near play test time. Narrowing it down. Helps, a great deal. For example in my map i have a sorta stepping system. Meaning some areas its higher and lower and others. You dont want to bring it right down to the roofs either because you need to, allow room for weapons and such.

Also to the lighting problem check for leaks. That can be a contributing factors.
