24/7 Custom maps Rotation???

Well , i enjoy playing eGO servers, but i would love to have a server that had a map rotation, but all the maps were custom made ones, not stupid customs with "orange" textures (Gawd i hate those ones!) but like really good looking ones. Please post feedback

This will not happen anytime soon. eGO prides it's self on 24/7 maps, and thats probably how it will stay.

I remember the when the Kustom Kettle was with us. Brings a tear to me eye Unfortunately rotation servers dont seem to work much with eGO. Especially custom ones.

True that CaPkInG OG! That's what makes ego so unique from the other gaming communities. The different houses for different maps really defines its members.

P.S. It's not too bad to just select different ego servers if you want to play a different map...(you lazy bum, lol)

Rotation servers are just hard cuz when a map changed sometimes everybody leaves cuz they want to play a different map. 24/7 servers every player intentionally picked that map to play. The issue becomes even worse with custom rotations because now players must download a new map and wait just to see if they like the map at all.

P.S. It's not too bad to just select different ego servers if you want to play a different map...

I have always been welcomed on all of the eGO maps. {It's 'cause I'm so loveable}

Don't let your house tag keep you off any of the maps. Variety is the spice of life.
Who knows, maybe the other houses can teach you a few new tricks.

I love having 24/7 servers, when I want to play a certain map I just have to get in line and wait for a spot to open up. I also love rotation servers (haven't played on any in years) but there's a certain pace to it all. 45 minutes to take the map and then you move on to another. But yea usually half leave to find a specific map anyway, and if they're custom maps then even less people. I'd like to see it, even one with normal stock maps I think would be fun.

did ego ever have a 24/7 anzio....i think it needs to come back...its a pretty popular map......argenten too.....thats a good one....since theyre not custom ya know

my goal is to get all my achievements on ego servers but i cant do it obviously without at least one bomb map...preferably colmar......i like the old jagd better...in the first dod....they should have kept it the same.....and what happened to caen...that map was fun too....

eGO did have a custom map server for over a year (kustom kettle), but as a general statement, it did not succeed. The chances of an eGO sponsored custom map server returning is minimal, if non-existent. The eGO membership generally brings in a different type of player than your typical custom map gamer... and so even with eGO's tremendous numbers, a custom server was unable to get off the ground.

The Kettle had since left, and done alright separately, but operates on different principles. Although to be fair, another part of the problem is that DoD is simply a fading game... its numbers are not growing anymore, which makes starting any new server difficult.
