Make Strand a pure server plz!

Can the Strand serber be made a pure server?

There are to many People using player skins that make the other team stick out like a sore thumb & thats just cheating & there's also gun skins too that put scopes on no scoped guns & thats also cheating to me.

well i dont think that will happen, if we do that what about the other servers? they will have the same problem. i mean im all for wep skins, my K98 has a scope on it i mean it doesnt off set the game.

Well if they took the time to find those skins for an advantage, why dont you use em? its simple enough just to download them, and its not illegal just play and stop complaining Like I had to with palermo and darn spawn campers

I used to find it easier to have a scope on my k98/m1, because my eyes just dont focus well, and I cant see what I'm aiming at half the time. I like being able to see more. But I really dont think its something to ban.

Well I guess for some people to be good at things they have to use things that the game didn't come with from the people that made it & then add it to the folders to make the other team stick out like a bright color of some sort just so they're good at the game & it's pretty easy to see these players too because they shoot you way out of scope range & the not shotting at any of your own team mates when they come blasting threw the door to help you hold whatever area your taking out isn't cheating them what do you call it?

As far as that being in the DOD:S forums idk how you guys & or gals handle things like this so im not saying anyting about it but I just wish that the strand or all of the DOD:S servers went pure, that also brings down the ping & game lag as well when no one can be running the skins of any type.

By the way I'm not complaining I'm asking the council members & as far as I know strand is a DOD:S issue not TF2 so plz keep it to your TF2 side plz & thx.

That statement is completely false. What skins and sounds a player is running does not lag the server or effect how you connect to the server. It only can create FPS lag for the client who uses them.

If that was the case then maybe you should have posted this either in the DoD division forums or the DoD eG sections and NOT in the General forums like you did.

Bringing your suggestions to the General forums seems more like you are asking for opinions of anyone wanting to respond, whereas posting in one of the areas I suggest keeps it within DoD as you stated...or better yet you could have pm'd this to Slayr, Tommy or your House Leader and have a private conversation with them and not had to worry about all these other people putting in their two cents.

I agree with Duck. I have been reading this and I believe this conversation is getting out of control. I think this thread should be locked and should be picked back up via a private means.

I use skins on all my guns, but they are only high resolution skins, nothing that makes the gun "better", but they do look so much more amazing.
