DOD:S worth getting?

Is it worth getting cause I'm buying a new graphic card and some games (if I want to or my parents let me) is it ok? or should I get it with HL2 EP:1 also? or DOD with DOD:S?

Never played, the original DoD, but DoD:S is good enough though. How much I enjoy is more dependent on the map that I'm on more that it is in say CS:S or TF2. However, given that alone the game is only 10$, I'd say its worth getting.

or should I get it with HL2 EP:1 also?

Is there a package to get both? If there is and you like HL and HL2, may as well do it. Personally, I thought Ep. 1 is the worst of the HL2 games, the first part of it was good but the second half was kind of bleh.

Hey, just a quick FYI, if you are seriously considering getting Ep. 1, get it this weekend on Steam. It's half-price so you can get it for $5. I'm pretty sure it doesn't end until tomorrow.

For 10 bucks you can't go wrong with DOD:S. It is a very awesome game!

It's one of those games where you can actually see yourself get better over time cuz it is more based on skill than "Spray and Pray"...

just go get the whole source package is what i say.

Kind of silly asking if you should get dod source here when one of the major games in the clan is dod source, of course we are all going to say yes.

It awesome if you love World War 2 stuff. Like Rymo said, it is about skill not spray and pray. It does take a little getting used to but it is definitely a great buy.
