eGO known for the bacon discussion?

Bacon discussion, what's the point?

I'm going to be honest here.

I see people talking about bacon and the safety dance way too much, threads such as "Bacon vs. Safety Dance" or "Bacon Haters" and it even came to a "Bacon vs. AC/DC", what is up with that? What are the new =(e)= recruits going to think? That this clan is obsessed with bacon/safety dance? That's not a good way to be looked at as a clan and I am truly sick of all the discussions.

Anyways, by all means, go ahead and keep making bacon/safety dance discussions. I am only sharing my thoughts and I am in no way telling people to stop with all these kinds of discussions.

Of course, this is a poll for those who agree or disagree with my opinion. Those who agree with my opinion become their opinions also.
 
FINALLY someone thinks of something to say. I never really thought of that perspective, good point man.
 
There has been tons of them in the last week. Don't see a point for that many of them. Maybe 1 topic or so, but not all over the shoutbox and all over the forums. I meant to say agree btw....pressed disagree.

Come on guys, do we really need 20 different bacon/safety dance threads in both Off-Topic and General forums? This is really getting out of hand and extremely old and annoying really quickly. !bang
 
Honestly, I was worried about this too. I talked to someone about it, and they assured me it's actually not a bad thing. After thinking about it, they were right. This is our "slow" time of year, when everyone is busy with more important things irl. If these bacon discussions have only done one useful thing, it's gotten people active. People are talking, we're making up weird scrims and have odd discussions...but at least we're doing things, right? :P
 
I just really wish/hope the additional thread creations stop. I don't like wading through waist deep water of those threads. I mean yeah, it was funny at first, and I didn't mind, but now it's starting to bug me a little.

If at all I think it should be left out of public viewing forums cause its a lil ridiculous for people checking us out to see it
 
It was funny the first 50 times. Now it just seems old and repetitive, especially since anything that happens in the clan turns into a discussion on that topic.

So much for no one's getting annoyed of this bacon thing but whatever, I agree.
 
I counted the Bacon and Safety Dance threads last night during the meeting. I counted 13, and I swear if ANYONE pm's me on steam or on the forums about this crazy thing you are going to be blocked. Not kidding, you guys promised this would be over after the whole NinjaFluff/SixxGun battle.

EDIT: Blast! I voted disagree, I meant to vote the one that says "Blow up all threads on this matter."

I don't mind it so much on the forums because I don't have to click on the thread if I don't want to. But I start to get a little peeved when people enter my channel on vent and shout "Bacon!" To me, that's just as bad as a spammer. I'm up for people having fun their own way, but don't drag others into it if they'd prefer not to be.
 
I agree with those who say it's getting annoying. Just about every time I hop on the site somebody is talking about bacon in the shoutbox. So, I start looking through the forums and I see a bunch of bacon threads. Sorry folks, but it's getting old.

I agree but it is a fun topic and the shoutbox is just there for fun I know as a fact most new recruits don't stare at the shoutbox there busy learning the ways of the eGO
 
Methinks the greatest thing to learn about humor is knowing when to stop, when to reign it in.

Thats all I'll say here.
