Below is a list of some of the most played FPS games right now. By looking at this list you can see how Left 4 Dead will stack up against other popular games as far as the system you will need to run it...

Most of these numbers came from official game sites. Others were taken from reliable sources such as IGN, Gamespot, 1Up, etc.

their all sorta in the same general area as far as requirements, with slight veriations depending on what the game is heavy on.

Very nice to have the comparison to my current games, thanks alot.
 
I'd like to point out that what you have up there is the minimum reqs for L4D and the recommended reqs for TF2 and DoD:S.
 
Chances are if you can run any recent source game (orange box) relatively well, you should be able to run l4d nearly the same also. I would highly doubt that any source game would require much more power than a previous source game, even with the engine enhancements.

i dun think its been said if the L4D reqs are min or recommended yet.

It says requirements, which suggests minimum needed to run it. And since source has been upgraded significantly, its not unreasonable to think the sys reqs are higher.
 
Wow thanks for posting that... I mean if thats the min requirements for L4D, I guess I'm out of luck. Well at least theres CS, DOD, and TF2.
