Hey everybody, there's something I've been wondering about for awhile. If you get a disguised spy to be uber charged at the same time by a medic from both teams, will the spy be purple? I've been unable to pull it off in normal play so far, so if someone has done this or wants to test for me I'd love an answer.

It's dependent upon who gets the uber charge off first. It is the same concept as two medic on one person. Not both medics will get the assists, but the medic who first attached themselves to the player will gain the assists.

Hope this helps.

They just turn the color of the team that is ubering first

Edit: uggh, he beat me to it.. whatever i'm leaving this :-P

I was under the impression that the enemy spy would be ubered his team color, not the medic's color or any combination.

A RED medic ubers a disguised BLU spy. The medic will see the usual "Healing: [name]" label. The medic and all of his teammates will see them BOTH (the medic and the spy) as glowing red.
The spy and HIS teammates, on the other hand, will be able to see the spy glowing blue and the medic glowing red.

I came in thinking this was going to be a complaint thread ABOUT Purple.

I am disappointed.

Lol Sumelar, i thought it was about Purple aswel, if you want to try it out sometime, ill gladly help you! (IM THE SPY, IM ALWAYS THE SPY!:))

Well I've only seen it happen once where it was a simultaneous blue and red uber. It wasn't pretty. You know how in Ghostbusters they say "Don't cross the streams"? Yeah you can unmake existence. Or in this case, a server.

Spies when ubered, just like everyone else, display their actual color.

If an enemy RED medic ubers a BLU spy, the Spy is BLU, even disguised.

Just like when on fire a blu spy would show up as BLU, an uber always colors you YOUR real color.

Mmm... I don't believe this is true. The enemy spy retains his disguise color. I know this because I have accidentally ubered a few spys. You don't know they're spys until they choose to reveal themselves.

Hmm, maybe it's only in spectator. I will confess I've never seen another enemy spy ubered in actual play so far, just myself (fooled a medic with the reload trick :D!!!!) and in spec, so. :\

in spectator they show up as their true color, but maybe this isn't the case in non-spec I guess.

I tested it out, I'm not sure how it works. We got the same spy to show up as red and as blue while ubered, but it never mixed colors :(

Enemy ubered spys are your color. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-qD30EOO-o[/ame]
End of this video shows this. Sniper is spy, same color as team.
