As far as I'm concerned, facestabs are staying until they can find a way to fix backstabs. Right now, there's a ridiculously imbalanced facestab to failed backstab ratio right now with fail backstabs being the majority by a long shot. Facestabs are just like... a very small reimbursement for all of those failed backstabs.

In order to remove facestabs they have to make all lag go away.
Since the whole world isn't using fiber wire internet, this is impossible.

Facestabs are annoying, but, eh. I don't complain (much) about them, nor blame the Spy.
What I hate is getting backstabbed when my back is to a wall - or even worse, when I'm in a corner. I do that deliberately to not only prevent backstabs but to keep from getting flanked.

lawl, I wish knives could crit normally, but then they'd be imba, what with a 10,000 damage back crit, a 60 damage normal crit...
