How is DSL for Gaming?

I mean Cable will most likely always beat out DSL... Just because of how it's sent up to your home.
But if you have to get away from Comcast they are supporters of anti-net neutrality.

I used to connect to servers in america from england on 1mb at about 120 ping... european servers at 40 ping I only saw a big difference in downloads/torrents etc.

I have a female aquintance in the US who's only spoken decently of Verizon DSL.

OT:
I feel you guys - I really do...

By the danish standards, my 10/1mbit DSL connection is slow, and anything below 5mbit is cheaper than water per day almost.

That said, i can't wait to get my 50/50mbit fibre line..
Who said living in the EU was bad, all the time?
