new laptop 4 gaming

consider the Dell XPS range of laptops. Yes i know i would never go near a Dell desktop but their laptops are not too bad and considering they own alienware now there are many influences drawn from there.

I have 2 friends on my course at university one has an alienware the other a dell xps both identical specs. Yet the dell was £400 (800 USD) cheaper!

oh and get a desktop lol
 
I do not believe in "gaming laptops". There are so many power restrictions and bus speed bottlenecks, but if you absolutely insist on using a laptop for gaming then I tend to agree with Jimb0_d, Dell is probably the way to go.
 
I still think that laptops should not be used for gaming. unless if it is a game like Pacman or something with very little system requirements.

build a tower. .
