Setup.exe problem

Hi there.

I have a problem:
When i try to install this game: Evil genius, it says that the setup.exe dosen't answer and then i close down.I has never happend before and i don't have a clue why i is doing it.
I have a almost brand new vista premium.

is this something you downloaded? or is it on a CD or DVD? it's possible if you downloaded it that maybe the files is corrupted and needs to be re-downloaded. if it's on a cd or dvd maybe the disk itself is bad.

i would suggest going to google and putting in something like the following:

setup.exe doesn't answer when installing evil genius...

see what comes up

No i haven't downlaodet it, it is a cd
And i would be wery wierd i it was the cd , but i think i'll try intalling on my friends com.
There dosen't really come any usefull results up searching

Check for any scratches or it could be a virus that is corrupting and files that are run by the cd rom.

Hi there.
I have a almost brand new vista premium.

Is this Vista x64? If yes, then it looks like the game is not compatible/untested according to this site -> http://www.overclockers.com.au/wiki/Vista_Compatibility_List. It will work on Vista x86.

If it is x64, you can try to run the executable in a compatibility mode. See here steps 1-6 for instructions -> http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/75909-compatibility-mode.html
