Freezing problems

This is a problem I've had for a while and I just kinda figured my computer sucks but I just want to get some info on what you guys think it could be. Whenever I'm playing TF2 or any other game and have to alt+tab out it takes forever but it will eventually let me open up another program, firefox for example. Now when I want to go back into my game it won't load up and goes into not responding. Then when I ctrl+alt+del to close the game, my computer completely freezes up. Any ideas what could be causing this?

This could be a problem with the game running in the background, using up a lot of memory. This is very common. It's just hard to run games in the background, and even my computer cannot handle it well.

I'm not entirely sure though, how did you open up Firefox from ALT + Tabbing? Or did you actually minimize the game? If you minimized the game then the game is still playing, so everything that would be running during the game is running, plus you are opening up other programs.

A friendly suggestion:
Don't minimize a game such as TF2 and then try to run other programs. It makes your CPU usage skyrocket.

Check your registry and Check for Viruses buddy

You shouldn't even trying Alt Tab to get out of games...it just messes them up.
