Im a little concernd

how is it that every time i open any steam game and i click enter after for instance the valve logo comes up my computer crashes and then restarts itself. even if i dont click enter and just wait my computer restarts itself.... Any ideas what is going on?

yes whenever the game starts and it shows the little intro video with the valve logo and where you can press enter, i press enter and my computer crashes, even if i wait and not press enter it crashes right when it gets to the loading screen.

Do this... in the main steam window...

Right Click on the game you want to play -> Properties -> Set Launch Options -> put this in "-novid -nocrashdialog -dev" minus the quotes... -> ok -> close -> start up your game

See if that fixes it

Does it do it with anything other than source games?

If it is the BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) Update your graphics drivers, see if that helps.

ok i will update the drivers, and no it only happens with steam games

If that doesn't fix it, it'd try reinstalling the game you're trying to play.

ok tyvm it worked im so thankfull cuz i spent 1.600 euros on computer parts and i was fliping out about steam games not working. and believe me i reinstaled everything reinstalable^^
