So I have a cheep logitech keyboard from Walmart that has never failed me but I'm looking around at some new cheep ones lol. Has anyone used one of these few I'm looking at? I'm too cheep right now for a G15.

Meh, out of those I'd go with the Elixer II. Looks the best imo.

And it's "cheap"

My cousin has a gaming keyboard for around 20$ I think its called a Z board, he bought it in wal-mart for playing halo... I'd go for the Elixer II cause its the cheapest one you can get, plus every keyboard are almost the same anyways.

Well if you want to support eGO, go for the Saitek one. It isn't too bad either. However, it's kind of pricey.

I use Logitech media keyboards - they last me a good while - are full sized, have a reasonably standard layout. Expect to spend about $30-40 on a decent keyboard.

Another good keyboard is the Microsoft Media Keyboard ( $30 ) - standard 101key layout (which I like.)

I really suggest to stick away from the ones with laptop style buttons ( UGH! ) and any with rearranged keys (non-standard format, with the insert-end-home keys rearranged, different enter & backspace keys, etc... )

I got a question about those Saitek boards & other gaming-boards.

How many keys can you press at once before the system starts complaining (beeping)?

really now... I am a G15 user... I have a nice high end keyboard... but I only bought it because... 1. I could and 2. I was using a wireless keyboard before.

I would say that if the keys on your current board still work, don't replace it. Your money would be better spent buying a better mouse (like a MS Sidewinder or such) instead of a keyboard.

Well i have the saitek cyborg, and right now i just layed both of my arms across it, covering MANY of the keys, and not a single beep, so i would say alot. I have never had the system beep at me
