Half Life 3 or Half Life 2 Episode 3?

I'm tired of Half-Life.

It is time for, FULL LIFE.

HL3, It should be a long game and they should add something new to make it more exiting

I havn't played ep. 2 yet (just procrastinating). But who else wants to see something of the same system, physics, graphics etc. but a new approach on the half life series.. T

They have to do something innovative to keep the series going.

Though they should make it last A LONG time instead of a few hours. Also it should be like the story line kinda ends with Gordan and Alyx for good.

It has been said numerous times before by Valve that the episodes are indeed HL3. That said if there were to be a brand new game it would be, for all intents and purposes, HL4.

With that said I enjoy the episodic releases more if for no other reason then because it allows them to be more flexible with each release.

I'm of the impression that they want to complete the trilogy before starting a new game. Since HL2 marked the beginning of the Source engine from the Gold engine... I'm willing to bet that Valve's either amping up or completely rewriting their engine for HL3.
