For Anyone wanting cheap graphics cards!!!

dude, thats after mir (mail in rebate). even if someone were to try n get the video card w/ the mir, its a low-profile video card, so u cant play many games with it.

I've never heard of KFA (or whatever acronym is), I wouldn't touch any of those with a 20ft pole.

Besides you can get a 8800GS for $80, decent gaming at low resolutions.

if only they still made PCI slot graphics cards...my brother could use one :P

Depends on the company, I can play Gears of war on all medium settings/low with 800x600. Its an EVGA 8400GS 512mb.

No offense Squire, but that's not much to brag about...800x600 hasn't been used mainstream in the last...10 years or so?

Gooda we dont need to debate on how the cards wont run on high settings....or if its a trustworthy company

Some people just want a card to game. Its better than having a 15 year old Card then having a new card that wont run at high.....

this is just some info for those type of people....

In other words "shhhhhhhhh" :D

...people don't need to know if a company is trustworthy? Then what the hell is the BBB for? What do customer reviews do?

Bite me.

[ * Yes I smelled the sarcasm - however I just want to be an idiot anyway. ;) ]

I'd like to rephrase that into a 5 year old card. ;)

A 15 year old card would be a 16bit ISA card or a 32bit VESA card.

Either of which would have maybe 256kb-4mb ram.

Neither of which would fit in any modern system released since maybe 2000. (VESA was dead about when PCI came out. So - VESA wouldn't fit in any system released since the mid 90s.)

Yea I know, wasn't bragging though, but 800x600 is still good, but the card could still play team fortress 2 at 1024xsomething with all high settings (DirectX 10 if you wanna see some eye candy and HDR blindness). I bought the card to play all of Ego's server (excluding call of duty 4). But its for old gamers, not extreme gamers anyway.

I never even played at 800x600... I started at 1024x768, never 800x600 :S
