GRID V1.2 keeps crashing

Well I just got GRID ^^ and i updated it to V1.2 Im running vista but it was working before... now it keeps crashing
I did a registry scan so im not sure thats it and all my drivers are up-to-date
any other suggestions?

it's already patched look at the pic -,-

see if u can try downgradin the game back to its previous version (either that or reinstall the game). i still dont like vista & dont really ever plan on switchin 2 it til microsoft gets their butt in gear & comes out w/ a stable os (as stable as 2k or xp).

I never played Grid but I seen a simular error on a Vista system that I worked on..
I just dl and installed OpenAl from http://connect.creativelabs.com/openal/Downloads/Forms/AllItems.aspx

Did you download the original game or do you own it on DVD? If you downloaded the game then the patch is not for you, the patch only applies to the DVD version. Else the only other advice I can give you is uninstalling and re-installing the game from scratch or as Pilar already indidcated try removing the patch, but I doubt you have that option.

well grid never worked for me, released WAY too early

I formatted my hard drive do to a careless infection
reinstalled the game now works fine Thanks anyways guys

Also I dont download stuff like that
