There is a pre-order going on for L4D (10%) & the release date on it will actually be a day before the 10th anniversary of the original Half-Life game (Nov 19) (research done on www.planethalflife.com). Anyways, just thought those of you who are either gonna pre-order the game or are gona buy the game would like to know that.

Nah, man - it'll run on one core. There are different specifications for single core processors, though.

dude, if ur rents r willin 2 get ya the game, then get the same, test out ur settings cause i know its possible to play the game on a single core cpu (most of my games can run fine on it since my prev cpu was a p4) & then go from there. also ask your parents if theres anything round the house u can do for some extra $$.
