if you have read the graphic novel "The Watchmen", how did you like it? I really really really liked it.

the trailer looks AMAZING.

**If you haven't read this or heard of it, buy it at Barnes & Noble!

I have to say it's one of the finest novels I've ever read...and not just a graphic novel...i mean out of all the novels I've read.

Zach Snyder continues to put out some of the best trailers I've ever seen. I'm just hoping he follows through this time, as 300 was kind of a letdown after the trailer. (It wasn't bad, but the trailer was essentially all the good bits, to a better soundtrack, and 3m long)

As someone who is a buff on comic book history and characters... I've got to say that the characters in Watchmen are by far the coolest and most human characters I've ever seen.

I mean... It's something that isn't so far fetched that it loses its connection with reality, like Superman-ish storylines do. These are regular people with maybe some extra muscle or brains, but they try to do their best.

I swear... This novel changes the way you think about heroism. It's astounding and if it's even half as good as 300 then it'll be my pick for movie of the year.

I saw the trailer some weeks ago and thought: Wow, I really gotta read that novel. And so I did, it`s the best one i`ve ever read :D

heard about this a while back.......very excited. (don't think i will pee on myself though) :)

I'm gonna revive this...

Anyone seen the new trailer? I liked the first one better.
Watchmen is one of the best novels I've ever read, it completely redefined how I looked at the genre, and it was more than a graphic novel. It was a challenge to everyone to really think about what a hero is and how messed up they actually would be. Watchmen personified heroes, which was a revolutionary thing to do.

I heard they changed the ending...will not spoil it but it seems to work better (for the movie at least) than the one in the book.

Watchmen will hopefully be the best "Superhero" movie of 2009, btw, I'll just post some clips: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msEE1-hxtvc[/ame]

Ya, I agree with you on this. The ending that they changed it to works better. To be specific, without spoiling anything of course, they didn't screw up Moore's intent in the least.
