That motherboard will be a POS in my opinion. It's an mATX motherboard...so it's tiny and has only one PCIe slot. You'll have a fun time managing your cables with that.

- ram: 2x2GB G.Skill DDR2-1000 kit. Maybe two if you have some money left over
- hdd: Western Digital 640GB AAKS drive (2x for RAID, 0 or 1, your choice)
- cpu. Intel E8400 #ghz
- mobo. Nvidia 780i motherboard
i need a
- case: Antec 900/1200 perhaps? All about personal preference when it comes to cases.
- cd/dvd: Any $30 DVD burner will be fine really.
- gpu: 8800GT, SLI perhaps? If you've got enough left over, a GTX260 or 280 would be best I guess.

This is assuming you want Nvidia only, like you said in your PM.

Hey guys,
Thanks a TON for all the help.
Now i'm stuck with 3 more questions :)

1) For the HDD, should i go with 2 320GB's or just 1 640GB.
2) For the PSU, would a 500W modular be able to handle my build?
Refer to my newegg quicklist to see :)
3) Can anyone recommend me a good wireless router and a good wireless adapter. Wireless-N is a must.

2 320GB drives if you're going to RAID them, otherwise, the 640GB drive will be better.

500W should be fine for a single GFX.

No idea about wireless. I prefer wired...lol.

I don't know enough about 802.11 N to recommend anything - honestly, I have my PC and my 360 plugged into the switch on my Linksys G router and use the wireless for my notebook, phone, and friends who bring their computers over.

As far as mouse and keyboard go, I'm using a Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 keyboard and a Microsoft Sidewinder Gaming Mouse - I cannot recommend this combo more.

I'm using a DIR-615 router from DLink and it's doing me perfectly fine. It only costs $70. As for the adapter...maybe try one of DLink's adapters. I don't use an adapter because I use the ethernet cable.

Thanks Crusader.
I check NE and i think i'll go with the 655.
Also, anyone have any thoughts on USB recievers?
thanks

i personally would never get a USB reciever for a computer wireless network. With my personaly experience they always are randomly dropping the connection, and really, its better to spend your money on a PCI slot card.

I don't see a GFX card in there, so a 500W would be fine. It might cut it with one as well...just depending on which.
