Cali vs Chicago LAN party

STATE: Chicago, IL
AGE: 22
Saturday or Sunday: both?
Location: Lincoln, NE
Location of LAN: Doesn't matter to me, I'd be driving for about 7-8 hours regardless.
 
I'm in So Cal
Riverside, Ca
Give Plenty of Notice on Saturday late afternoon or Sunday late afternoon and I'm there...
 
Wouldn't it be better if the LAN was in Cen Cali for the california one...

Because if it's So Cal most of the NorCal guys will have to drive 6+ hours, play for a couple of hours and drive 6+ hours back effectively
(12-15 hours driving depending on traffic) eliminating anyone from NorCal and alot of CenCal...

Why not call it a SoCal lan event?

PS:
Maybe it's just me but I don't think alot of people are willing to drive 12+ hours, and burn fuel just to play a few hours of video games in SoCal.
