Here's my advice. NEVER go for Clearwire as your ISP. It takes forever to download anything over 8 MB.



It's usually horrible for gaming as well, because on a bad day I get pings of 400-500 at best. Today is just a good day I guess!

When I come home from college my parent's speeds make me want to cry. Once I get dad to upgrade it will become better. I almost have him convinced he just doesn't want to call. I'll post mine from Purdue University when I get back.

Here's my speed when on the university's wireless. I'm sure there are better places on campus for wireless but I just happened to be in this building. Next time I'm at a dorm or lab I'll see if the speed is still as impressive as my 1st year here.

After adding a Linksys Switch(EZXS55W) to my setup and hooking into that:

This is connected through a laptop using wifi on an older d-link router, and I don't get any game lags, only server side lags.
I can only imagine if I was directly connected.
