I've had a really rough day... =(

So my PSU (power supply unit for my computer) died on monday, so I ordered a new one off newegg and payed 33.30 for next day shipping (i worked out a deal with my dad to get him to pay for it in return for a bunch of work to do around the house/yard) in order to get it here today so I can do my homework/play FC2 etc...

Didn't come today.

So I reassemble my old computer using my mule harddrive, the mobo from the old one, a spare PSU (not nearly powerful enough for my current comp) and a spare ati 9600 i had lying around. It worked! I was ready to play some CS:S in lowest graphics and crazy low resolution... but CS:S nonetheless!... until I upgraded the graphics drivers, now it hangs at the EPA bios screen thing. nothing i can do about that...

Soooooo once my sis left for whatever she was doing I decided to try and transplant my HDD into her computer to get some HW done. My case cover has a plastic panel on it, which shattered after I took it out.. I still have no idea how.

I know there are worse things (I live in a good place, etc.) but I've had a pretty rotten day, and I've probably broken more stuff than I've fixed... Lots of letdowns, etc. Hopefully tomorrow will bring a better day.

Please, cheer me up. =)

ummm yeah. ok... lets see, in a situation like this, all i can say is... ummm, well i dont think there is anything to say...

Does it help to tell you pretty much the opposite of what happened to you happened to me.

Got my New Egg order in. Didn't shatter the side panel. And just started the Far Cry 2 download....oh and I finished my homework.
 
Hmmmm....that seriously DOES suck. Plus it seems like everyone (including myself) is having an AWESOME day.

Suggestion: A name change might help? Seems your lacking a bit of self confidence in the whole being good at life region.

Advice: Dont try to do out-of-the-way things to get something working. Its called patience, learn it.

And finnally, your not alone man, EVERYONE has bad days. Yours is just an exceptionally bad one.

I had one of those days where my comp just froze died and wouldnt turn back on... Turns out my graphics card and PSU fried at the same time... So off to get a new graphics card and PSU (needed to be done any way) Got a 8800 GTX SSC and a 650 PSU.

I leave my side panel off any ways I have a floor fan from walmart mounted to the inside of my desk for cooling.

So I know how you feel as far as having a suckish day... I would say everyone has had something break or lose their profile, or there house was hit with a hurricane... There are tons of things that could and probably will go wrong sometime or another... But yes try to be patient and work things out. I have learned from expierence there is ALWAYS a way to fix something that is broke... with the exception of vista which you just have to throw away. lol
 
ok, So I think posting on this thread was bad luck or something.

the day after I posted here, I was backing out of a parking spot at dark and bumped into a friends car... No damage done to my car... alot to hers. I also got grounded from computer phone cell phone tv music and pretty much any other entertainment for 1 month so I wont be on much any more.... for the next month... but like this morning I am up before them so I am on... sneaking :P I will try to do this again sometime.

Well you were grounded for a reason. The way I see it... and as a father... I'm letting you know now, don't break the rules that your parents have imposed on you. It will be much better down the road. This basically lets us know how much you will be following the rules in eGO.

Yeah I normally get along with both my parents just fine... but my mom here recently has only been fussing at me for everything I have been doing wrong and not willing to have a normal conversation... even friends have pointed out that she has been a little fussy... I normally have no problem following rules. Always have, Hadnt been gounded this year... other than now...

Me and my parents are doing fine now and getting along great, I think they were so upset because of the accident and me getting mad because of a rough day...

We talked to the people who own the van that I hit, and they were willing to agree to another estimate which included a rental car...

So I am feeling a little better :D
Missing my family on eGO, Cant wait to be back... (my family is going to florida this next week so I will be on then. :D
