Just wondering if their was a possibility of a snipers only server? i'd quite happily donate to keep one up in the future? however at the minute being a skint student and all that its difficult xD

Not really. Most snipers I've ever seen is 5. It's mainly only 3.

I was on there the other day yelling at my team "Need more sniper!"

Ended up everyone but 2 were snipers

I cannot say "no" to you but I'd like to think I can. eGO has pretty much stuck unmodded servers, meaning no extra tool or plug-in to change the gameplay.

If you want my opinion, I think it is a bad idea. We can't keep all the servers full anyways, I just think another one sitting around is like money burning infront of your face.

I am not sure how much fun a snipers onyl server in TF2 would be. I remember when the first awp only maps came out for CS back in like 2001. It was neat at first but became boring after abotu 15 minutes. Each round became the same and if you weren't good at sniping to begin with the maps never helped you. Any difference would be negligible. Then the scout only maps came out and it was a little more competitive because the map designs were better but again, if you weren't good to begin with it was boring.

A sniper only server would end up not being full and with discussions on other servers running unmodded maps now this is not a good idea.

eGO don't limit classes. If you want a sniperfest talk to djsatan and see if you can get it in a Monday Madness or something

Here is an alternative. Sometimes, servers become empty, or very low populated. When we try and fill the servers, to ease boredom until more people come, we have melee fests. You could take this same idea and convince other players to go all sniper for a while until the server fills up.

I know that isn't QUITE what you were looking for, but its just an idea.

badwater and 2Fort are very good sniping servers

If you play the 2Fort Instant Spawn Server you will have plunty of a challenge in sniping other snipers and the constant battlement spam. The most snipers I have seen on one side was 7 and I've seen a 6 vs 6 sniper battle going on as well. I know many good snipers that hang out in that server including myself. Come join us late in the evening and have some fun.

nah it's more of a demo and engie server then a sniper server, that's my opinion at least.

Oohh Dandy, will have to pop up onto the 2fort server later tonight ^^ cheers guys, and you're right, I did think with the lack of servers been filled and the discussions of axing some servers it might not be a good idea but, it was merely a suggestion ^^

Lol, it'd be kind of cool though. Firing squad! (But nothing is more fun than having your whole team turtle it up and having the enemy team trying to break through all the time).
