I wanted to post this here because I think I was misread at the meeting. I suggested what if the houses were expected to donate at least $100 a month. It would be an honor thing. I wasn't suggesting people pay to be admins. Make it competitive between houses, let people know which house is most responsible each month for the DOD servers being online for all houses. Create a page to show which houses have made their 'House Dues' each month and how much more houses need to make it with a chart or something. Make it fun.

I'm not in a house, but I think it would give some fun incentive to go the extra mile to get a little more donations in. Is there any harm in trying to do something like that?

Then so should all memebers. So we can not do this. YOu cant say all houses must pay this without everyone doing so.

I don't really think this is an eGO way of solving money issues. The eGO way was that you can play as long as you like in the eGO servers and be in eGO without having to pay for it. But ofcourse all the donations are welcome.

Telling people they need to pay for something will only scare people away from eGO instead of pulling the new players in. People will get confused between paying for admin and not. So i don't think Council will let this happen.

I think this wouldn't be cool. Some Houses are just smaller than others, and this would give more active power to the biggest Houses. Me no like, me votes no!

I'm not trying to tell Council what to do, but we've kept the lights on for a while now, using the current system.

I would hove to say we need yo find another solution. paying will scare off potentional member and you would risk loosing good peps that don't have the money.
