I have noticed that on the instant spawn 2fort server, the HLSTATS fade in and out and does not always record your kills. I kept track myself and noticed that when the HLSTATS does not notify your kills as they happen, it will not show up on the HLSTATS website tracker. I am still new and don't really care, since I suck :), but if it is somthing that could easily be fixed maybe it should be looked into.

I haven't noticed that. I got 44 kills the other day as a heavy and it seemed to keep again, then again I wasn't really paying too much attention to that as for me trying to stay alive, I'll have to watch a little closer the next time I play...right now sounds good :)
 
I been playing on the instant 2fort server a lot lately. I have noticed that it records my kills for a certain period of time and then stops tracking for another certain period of time. It does this on and off throughout my time playing on this map. I do not know if the server itself is having issues tracking it or if hlstats is having a lot of info dump into their systems and it is being overloaded.
 
Yeah, that is basically the problem I have noticed to. I have also noticed the server has been a bit slower lately so it's possible the two problems could be related. Hopefully somthing can be done.
 
Just a quick question.....Is the server with 4 or more people while you are playing??? (just fyi if there isn't 4ppl in the game HLStats wont track).....and if you are referring to the text that shows up saying you got a certain amount of points for killing someone then it doesn't always do that.
 
I know that rule but good thought, no, it is when the server has more then 4.
 
I Believe all HLStats are working at the moment. You may want to ask council about this issue.
 
it goes off an on randomly on a full server. No it does not track when I do not see the points being added after killing someone even though it is suppose to. Its like I am reconnecting to the server randomly throughout my game. I see the welcome Evil Rev come up and after I see that the hlstats are working again. It does not bother me, but the instant 2fort server hlstats are not always working or on 24/7
 
If you type hlx into the console you get a whole load of options. Have a look through them, you might be able to make it better for you, even if it is a problem with HLstatusX on the one server.
