Valve Hammer?

I really want to learn how to use Valve Hammer to make some sweet CSS maps.

Does anyone know of some good resources to help me out? I have no idea how to use the program.

I don't have alot of experience in the design end of gaming. Is Hammer pretty user friendly or will I need to sit down and study it for a bit?

I would myself look at some videos rather than read alot of stuff, but that`s just me.
