Alright, I've got an eGO promotional video in the works using machinima. My main "expertise", if you can/want to call it that, is TF2. However, that wouldn't be fair to the other divisions if I only did the video using TF2. So, I'm trying to gather as many interested people from each division in order to put the film together.
I'd like to produce the final video two weekends from this weekend. So, that would be a completed product by November 15th. I'm already in talk with some council members and I'm gonna need to talk with some division leaders in order to plan out what days I can film. Around the 15th is when I'd like to finish up all the filming, but before then I'd like to get in time to practice the parts and for portions of actual filming. For right now I've got to get the lines written and the scenes kinda drafted out.
Anyway, I'd like at least 10 volunteers for each division and more is fine, but less than 20. If you've got multiple games and would like to volunteer for multiple parts, that's fine. Just post your name and what game(s) you'd like to participate in. If you want to have a speaking role you MUST have a mic and you must label so. Also, just because you list that you have a mic, it does not mean that you will have a speaking role in the final video, it just means you will be considered for a speaking part. Also, if you want to do a speaking role for ANY DIVISION you must go and download Audacity, which is available here.If you also want to help me in an additional way, let me know. Anyway, there will be lists for all 5 divisions: DoD:S, TF2, CS:S, INS, and CoD4.
UPDATE: Okay, I've decided on a theme for the videos. It'll be following the old timey kind of infomercials where some guy (Timmy) will be interested in something when the disembodied voice (in this case, they will be on screen. Hopefully the division leaders) speaks up to them.
The videos will follow a single player who travels across all the divisions and as such will need to be someone with all the games. To transition smoothly from one division to another, another player will take on a third or 4th speaking role per video and transition with the character Timmy. As such, the person will need to be someone who also shares the game currently being filmed and the next film in the series.
