FINAL Server discussion thread. ALL OTHERS WILL BE MOVED.

GG i think this sounds like it should work really well. I also think most everyone who had issues will be at least pacified by this.
 
I played convoy for the first time lastnight.....great map

Remember... if you are sitting at your desk.... and working on other stuff... open TF2 up in the background and spectate an empty map... this helps draw players in and will help keep the servers alive!
 
This sounds very good, I agree with the list. Finally the discussion's over. :p
 
I got to play Convoy on a civilized server for the first time in MONTHS today... VERY NICE!!!!
 
I think that is a great list. I very rarely play on non-eGO servers!

Okay, Maybe I missed something but I'm new here so this is what I think.. (full disclosure: turbine is what made me join this clan so I am bias)
-No one knew the server was changed till it was actually changed? Now, I'll be the first to admit I'm not at the meetings (as I'm still really new and I didn't even pay attention to the meetings etc) but if your trying to get build a community, then let people debate on the points, (ie forum or whatever).
-I asked several time what was up and no one knew, that does not help people feel apart of anything when I log on one day and everything that I knew was changed.
-You guys are trying to build a high ranked server, turbine was pretty high up there, why get rid of it now? It does not make much sense to me.
-Why not offer up a poll on here, and say what's your favorite maps? (the top X (how many ever 24/7 servers we can do)) and put them up for a month, then have another vote, if something keeps on getting enough votes why not keep that?

All of these things were done about a month ago and the changes were discussed in meetings. We had discussions on the forum about what maps should be in rotation servers and these server reflect the exact results from that discussion.

Actually turbine wasnt never discussed on the forums as far as i know. Maybe during the meetings but never on the forums. Im sure if people heard about it being potentially axed, loads of people would've spoken up.
