Team Fortress 2 Error

This problem has been really bugging me because it pops up every once in a while while I'm playing TF2.

There error is:

TEAM FORTRESS 2: hl2.exe - Application Error

The instruction at "0x00010101" referenced memory at "0x26082811". The memory could no be "written".

Click on OK to terminate the program.

Can anyone help me fix this? :/

Depending on how often it happens, it sounds like 1 of those stupid steam errors that happen for no reason, occasionally I will get random crashes like that too.

Is the steam support article for this issue, I'd start there.

I've already checked that and done all of the steps. It happens quite often...

Yea, I had the same thing. Seems like there is something wrong with a part of memory that it is trying to access.

Soon after I started getting that error, I had to reformat my computer to fix a problem with the mbr that refused to fix itself. Not saying that you have to reformat, but I have not had that problem since. Hope it stays that way. =]
