I noticed lately that the FF on server has been getting more popular than the FF off server, so I just thought I would make a poll about FF on or off is more popular.

FF on , in the end you'll be a better more accurate shooter that can confirm enemy targets faster

FF off is not more realistic o_O. What fantasy wars have you been to/seen? There are friendly fire incidents that still happen quite a bit in today's military...but especially back in Korea and Vietnam. But, anyway, I actually like both play styles...as each adds a completely different play style to the game. But, I would like to note to Emo: If you'd like a feature added to a map in another game, then please post in that game's forum. This is the Insurgency forum, and thus, should contain only topics pertaining to *that* game.

As BHS said, we have one of each server so those who like FF can play and those who like it off can play as well :) Personally, I like FF on. I just don't like when you get some punk in game who thinks it's funny to shoot his teammates. But that's why the team kill limit/kick function is in place and also why we have admins.

6.

I prefer it on, though I've been finding myself playing on the FF off server because whenever I'm on there's hardly anyone in the FF on server.

At this moment I prefer to have FF on. Untill I can learn the game better and have a better ability to identify the marines vs. Insurgents. Often I try and test my inability to identify the two groups and end up in the negative. This is when I switch back over to FF on!

Is that the whole reason for having two servers? Personally, I think FF-ON makes people play better. Playing too long with FF-OFF makes me sloppy.

I've always preferred FF-servers, for every mod I've played. It keeps the players sharper and more alert, more aware where they're firing, and just makes for better players in general.

Of course it also means you'll occasionally get shot by your own teammates, but they'll get better eventually. And besides, the opposing team suffers the same thing as well.

All in all it really shows who can differentiate between correct targets quickly, rather than just being a twitch-gamer and shooting anything that moves.

I prefer FF on b/c INS is a very realistic game and it adds to the skill needed to be either good or great at the game.

Hehe, I know. I just wanted to know what people preferred.

And I 100% agree with the people that says it makes you more accurate, it defiantly increases your awareness and accuracy.

FF on for sure. I hate accidently killing a guy as the next player, but its more realistic and adds a real element to the game

Definitely FF on. Keeps you on your toes and forces you to learn to identify the target before you waste it. :)

Some times I've died because I wasn't sure, so I didn't shoot. Sometimes I've TK'd cause the other guy didn't look and shot first (I tend to assume its hostile if its trying to kill me). But either way, it makes everyone more aware of what they are doing. And if it doesn't, that person probably isn't the type I want to game with anyway.
