When I first started playing INS, like 5 months ago, I joined a server with a map I can`t remember the name off. It was a night map at least. And I managed to kill around 30 marines in a row with a sniper when they jumped over a wall, of course they were dumb enough to not take another route ^^ This is not something I am doing anymore.

i dont like to spawn camp or spawn kill... when you run out of spawn your not usually thinking about enemys... i think about what obj. i want to go to. really the game is about getting all the objectives. personally i wont do it even if the higher ups allow it. thats just me tho

so like on attack-defend maps, if the defenders get the advantage they have to sit on it?
i.e. let the attackers mount another free run at the objectives?

I think defense is defense, i can defend a single objective, or all the objectives at once.

You have to make a good judgement on spawn camping team, It's not the second you push the other team back to their spawn area, telling everytone to fall back or get kicked, It's when the game-play is seriously hinderred or stopped by one team sitting outside the spawn area and killing people, with no fair way of being hit back.
Of course you can push up, and run the attackers back up to their beginning area, but if the other team is blatantly stuck, with no method of game-play progressinfg until the 60:00 timer runs out, then something is seriously wrong.
Remember, there's a reason why eGO servers are crewwed by people, and not AI. Make a good judgement, and think for yourself.

I would just hate to see good defenses busted up and the attacking side win a map cause of refereeing lol
I definitely think that admins playing on the attacking side should NEVER be allowed to call spawn camping on the defenders. as a spectator its cool if they see its getting way to one-sided, but playing admins should let it play out.

An admin is an admin, no matter what team he is on. If there is no possible way for the attacking team to progress due to nades into the spawn or RPGs. Admins in the server WILL make the call no matter what team they are on. Sixxgunn and I are working for plugins to rectify this problem, but like black cat said:

I agree that spawn camping is bad but watching the exits I feel is different. Yeah it bugs the crap out of people, myself included, when you cant take 10 steps from your spawn zone but with a little teamwork they can overcome that obstacle, and a good team won't see that happen because its too difficult to go to the other side of the map to watch your enemy's spawn.
Again, in the spawn bad, outside of spawn watching into spawn bad, but watching the exits is something that can be overcome by the other team and if they cant do that, someone needs to switch teams.

Spawn camping................ Although i may not have any rank in this community, i strongly advise not too... To be honest, i've been a spawn camper at one point in my gaming life here at insurgengcy and it just made me fell bad as hell.... yea you can rack up kills beyond your imaginations lol ( *about 250 kills+ if i kept camping). However, it got to the point where Everyone from the insurgents left eventhough more were joining.... IN my view, all who camp in the spawn are just ruining the game and that they are committing a sin. I still feel shame and grief for the day i sat literally and i mean LITERALLY in their spawn (will not say which map can allow you to spawn kill right when they all pop out of thin air infront of you) and sprayed them for about* 11 consecutive rounds..... the enemies i killed were pissed to the point where they kept swearing until all the admins just kicked them. Anyways..... yea it really isnt a good idea to spawn camp even if its allowed....
