Garrys Mod not working

My garrysmod was working fine for the longest time. Then all of a sudden it randomly didnt work, It says the game is currently unavailable when its on my games list, but when i delete it then try to install it it just says the steam servers are too busy to handle request. its been like this for a few months and ive tried everything on the steam support website, ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling over 20 times and the same thing happens over and over. nothing has worked. Has any 1 else out there have this problem and was able to fix it? or any ideas floating around?

Are you using illegal steam? like pacsteam?

Nope i have the real steam client and bought all my games

Hmm I remember i had the same problem but i remember i uninstalled my firewall .. what firewall do you have?

I have Mcafee i tried installing it when i had the firewall completely disabled, also i dont know why it would randomly stop working, i have had the same settings for the longest time and one day it just stopped.

Did u try resetting your router?

Yeah, after i did i opened up my ports for all steam connections for the client and the steam server.

Do u use uTorrent?
I think that interfered with steam and i couldnt run tf2 till i formatted
even when it wasnt running it still did that

Well Try this
Uninstall Steam
Clean your PC With a Registry cleaner a free one: CCleaner
Restart pc and reset router
next reinstall steam NOT with the original directory
default C:/program files/steam

Instead try C:/Games/Steam

or something like that

i rly dont know what else the problem can be

Use Steam, If it says its to busy. IT is...sadly...keep trying to a good 5 mins, IF that does not work then then wait till later at the night and try agean.
