The gears of war continue to turn as Marcus Fenix and his squad of Cogs go back into action in the sequel to Microsoft and developer Epic Games' blockbuster action title. Gears of War 2 continues the story of Marcus Fenix and Delta Squad, locked in an increasingly desperate battle against the nightmarish Locust Horde for the survival of humanity. I loved the first, my brothers and I have been long fans while everyone else played COD4 and Halo 3 (though we play that too). We were planning on going to get it first day but our 360 has the red ring. :( It really sucks...we were planning to own noobs online first day.
 
Yes, but did you preorder the 1:1 scale Lance from Amazon.com?

And of course 15 months after I got my 360, it's RROD's also, I hate M$ and their stupid corner cutting.
 
Can't wait, lucky i don't have the RROD so I'm good. First thing that me and my friends are going to do is co-op then horde and finally check out the multiplayer. Hopefully the multiplayer won't be as horrible as GoW multiplayer was.
 
I just finished Gears of War about 2 months ago and i'm excited about Gears of War 2. I'm going to buy it the day it comes out.
 
The first GoW looked great, played great but didn't have the satisfying story I like to get into. I don't want to crap on the game or anything but I just personally don't like the game that much. It's still great for what it is; a great 3rd person shooter. I am still going to buy it and most likely enjoy it. I loved the unique weapons that they let you brutally dismember your foes with. Satisfying.
 
I am so pumped up for Gears of War 2, that's why I haven't been on TF2 lately. I'm practicing for Gears of War 2. I can't wait >.<

Did you ever finish it bro? In my opinion the story did get somewhat better as it went on, but really..what kind of story can you expect from a FPS? :)
