Far Cry 2 Crashes

I just bought Far Cry 2 from Circuit City but I can't seem to get it to run continuously. It keeps crashing without giving me a reason. The only reasons I got were when it gave me a BSoD and that said nv4_disp.dll. This may have something to do with my nVidia drivers but I've tried reverting and upgrading many times. Help?

Yep I checked already. It's past the recommended level.

What kind of processor do you have ?

AMD Athlon X2 6400+

I underclocked it to 3.0 GHz...no more crashes....hopefully.
