Can anyone explain to me why I get so fustrated at this?

The only stats I worry abotu are total healing points as I still need the 7000 and 10000 per life marks. I have gotten to 6780!

And the 1 million damage as pyro.

Other than that I could care less about stats. I want my team to win and if it means kamikazing every round as a pyro to stop a rush i will do it.

Eh, I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I have fun, AND manage to keep my score high. It's all about how you play I guess.

Cervani, it's not that you're lucky really, it's that you've got the key.

How do you get better at something? Practice it.

How do you get better at TF2? Practice it.

How do you get practice? Keep playing the game.

How do you keep playing the game? By having fun.

So... if you're having fun, you'll spend more time playing the game, and all those hours of playing the game will refine your game play to the point that you're full of win.

Shazam! QED! And such.

Lol, I have more deaths then kills but I don't really care. I just have a blast playing the game with everyone.

If you have a competitive nature, multiplayer online games usually result in loads of frustration. If u must really care about your stats i got a tip: Do whatever it takes to make sure your team wins every round, i.e change to whatever class your team is short of etc, then you will naturally see and improvement in your individual results. If you play selfish then your team will not win, and you will die more often then not.

If it makes you feel any better, half the folks with awesome stats are awful team players. I watch folks let the intel run away ALL the time, so they can preserve their K : D I guess. I'll die 100 times to stop a cap if I can.

ive got a 1.18 KD ration and im in the top 100, why? becasue I play medic, infact I have over 81 hours logged as a medic, and 50 as a soilder, but what can be the most frustrating thing in this game, that will even set me off, and im a pretty laxed person, is critz, how I wish they were off. Alot of people get me becasue of crits, and I seem to get certain people, like jugg, with nothing but critz. But I guess its suppose to be the equalizer for people who just started playing/ dont have much time to get better at the game, to still be useful for there team.

But anyways, back to your problem. If you are throwing them on the ground and breaking them, then may I suggest putting a matt down? or somethign soft to catch them?

i have died 100 times to stop a cap -.-

But thats not the point. Point is we all have our breaking point thats why when i play tf2 i bring a stress ball. :D
they help when im on a rampage. :p
and breaking stuff is never a good idea ^.^

Some days I am serious with this game trying to rank up. I just get into the game and try to be competitive. Other days I run around with my head cut off and just have fun. It's healthy to compete but not healthy to destroy your equipment, lol. I never let it get to me that much. I usually just uninstall the game and do not play for a while.

I care about my rank but I also care about winning alot when Im playing seriously. Alot of the time Ill constantly be running in and dying for the team because no one likes to rush and it will kill my KD ratio/score/rank. But if you get your rank high enough it doesnt really effect you since the point range is so big on the rank list.

Overall I just like to have fun but Ill leave the game if I get too frustrated to save myself a keyboard/mouse :D

i try to be a team player, but i think everyone who has played with me would say im quite bad.

Even though a medic and I ended up turning the opposing teams frontline into a wildfire once. :P

After coming out of the tourney scene, I cant have fun if I know my kills are less than my deaths. :(

getting frustrated doesnt get u kills and i know that by experience...

when u are calm and relaxed u get more kills..

and coming out of the tourney scene shouldnt u be better? (not to be an insult.. but i mean i always perceived tourney players as hardcore and would pwn my face off if i encountered them)

Try not taking the game so seriously. Remember the point is to have fun even though your getting owned by somebody, that's just part of it. x]

I have gotten frustrated as well many times, but what I usually do is either stop playing or take a break. ;P

I think everyone has nailed it: have fun!!!!!!....A couple of days ago on Warpath I had someone ask me how I could like playing Pyro if I died everytime I rush in (mostly)...And I said because I get a kick outta setting a hallway full of people on fire...doesn't matter if I kill one or six...the joy of seeing them back up is priceless.

Worry less about stats and score and more about having fun.

This, i regularly suicide into stickies so the demo will blow them and the medic combo behind me can go in without dying or wasting a uber or such. Sure hurts my stats, but it helps my team and Im having fun.
