just curious...does anyone know how the server side will be handled in L4D?

The Official L4D site had this posted:
Left 4 Dead uses a new matchmaking system we're developing. We'll be working with the server admin community to make sure the new system operates as smoothly as possible. More details on this later.


I know in TF2, you see a list of servers and you can select which one you want to play on.

In another game I have, GRID, multiplayer is handled a little differently: you choose your race type, and it automatically assigns you to the first available group that isn't full.

Hopefully we'll get to decide who we want to play with....guess we'll find out in a couple of hours

...and I'm 100% downloaded the L4D demo

Nooooo! curse that currency called money! My dad made me pre-purchase from a retailer instead becuase it's like $15 cheaper that way here in the UK comapred with steam, so no demo for me
