spyware remover

hey i just got spyware or somthin on my computer i dont know what i should use to try to get rid of it because i know there are allot of fake spyware removal things out there i did a scan with avg but that didnt do anything does anybody know what i should do to get rid of this?

there are a lot of threads already out on this - please feel free to use the search function of the site ;-)

That being said, the above suggested programs are all good. My suggestion would be to use AT LEAST two if you are infected with some sort of spyware, as well as an all-purpose cleaner (like CCleaner). Remember that it is important to run the spyware cleaners in Windows Safe Mode. So:

1. Install and update programs
2. Reboot into safe mode (boot and hit F8 after POST to bring up the boot options menu)
3. Run all purpose cleaner
4. Run cleaners on ALL drivers, and allow to run thorough scans (this may take up to an hour depending on the size of your HD)
5. Run updated Virus scanner
6. Reboot
