Something went wrong, I can't log in and I never can answer the security questions probably because someone changed it?!?!? So please de-activate my account or whatever and once I buy CSS and TF2 again I'll give you my new steam ID.

yeah well he changed the email address and the security questions and updated the credit card info, so im really screwed!! Guess I'll just have to buy the **** again

Steam stresses this consistently and has been for years and years now. Its unfortunate things like this happen still.

Sorry dude, best of luck. I got hacked once, turned around hacked into his stuff and scared the crap out of him sending him emails saying That if he wants to try to hack me again I would take legal action, Considering my dads a lawyer. and sent him a bunch of legal papers, most of were fake but it worked he gave all info back.... This all happened on paypal and ebay.

A big difference between getting haxored and someone getting your password. If you got hacked, you want to hide under your covers. If someone got your password, you want to tell steam.

contact steam with all of your receits and cd keys. hopefully you kept a record of those. Steam should be able to put them on a new accoutn for you if you can prove that your accoutn got hacked and your not jsut tryign to make anew accoutn for a friend....
