I was suprised by my promotions every time. Thought it was going to take me alot longer, guess it didn't.

lol i was liked that i looked each time but then i noticed that itll come sooner or later for example Konvict got promoted two months ago and i just told him that he got promoted two months ago lol

Same here. I got promoted to O in server, but when I got my G, it was on the list of promos. I read it like 5 times to make sure it was my name, and then searched for other people in eGO named Atten.

I usually check the promo lists, not so much to see if my name is on it, but just to see if I recognize anyone else from in-game. And wouldn't you know it but I missed one list and it happened to be the one with my name on it?! I didn't even know that I had received my G for something like 5 weeks until PurpleNurple pm's me, asking if I want my G or not.

I never really got the chance to find my name. I'd read the lists, but I was indifferent if my name was on there, since I felt that I would get it when I deserved it. However, the assault of GRATS ON THE G DOOD did overwhelm me (and my desktop).

I hardly ever look at the names. I just congrats those that get it and move on. My name could be on there and I wouldn't even know.
